Reporting a bug
Please include these — with them a problem is usually fixable in one pass, without them it often is not reproducible at all:
- What you were doing, and what you expected to happen.
- Your phone model and its Android version.
- For an answer that looks outdated: the question, your state, and what you believe the current answer is.
- For a purchase that did not work: what you tapped, and the message you saw.
There is no account to look up and none of your progress on our side, so describing the problem is all we need. Please do not send your A-number, receipt number, interview notice or any other immigration document: we never need them, and we cannot help with your application. For that, contact USCIS.

Is this an official government app?
No. Citizenship 2027 is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to USCIS or any government agency.
Which test will I take, the 2025 or the 2008?
It depends on when you filed your N-400. Filings on or after October 20, 2025 take the 2025 test (128 questions); earlier filings take the 2008 test (100 questions). Enter your filing date and the app picks for you. Confirm with USCIS if you are unsure.
Is it free?
Yes. Every question and mock interview is free, with no account and no subscription. Pro is an optional one-time purchase of $3.99 that removes ads.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything works offline. With a connection, the app fetches officials updates and sends anonymous usage and crash reports, as the privacy policy describes.
Does it listen to me answer?
No. The app never uses the microphone. It reads questions aloud with your phone’s voice, and you check your own answer.
Is there help for the 65/20 exemption?
Yes. If you are eligible, the 65/20 plan uses large print, a slower voice and Spanish cards for the shorter question list.
Can you help with my application?
No. We cannot give legal or immigration advice and the app has no connection to USCIS. For anything about your case, contact USCIS.

Deleting your data
Citizenship 2027 has no account and no server of ours, so there is nothing of yours for us to delete. Your progress, settings and dates are kept on your phone, and uninstalling the app or Settings → Reset all progress erases them.
